I Think That I Shall Never See, Etc.

There are over 5,000 trees in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Mass., many imported. The diversity of the horticulture makes it a coveted place for bird watchers, as the different species attract particularly unusual species of birds for this area.

Among these more than 5000 trees, I think this camperdown elm is pretty cool.

  1. Ahhh, beautiful. One of my favorite things about traveling is viewing/touching the trees of the area.
It pains me a bit to see the screws put into the tree to hang tag! Yikes.

  2. Yes, Laurie, this is a feelie and a looksie both but I always wonder why they don't stick a stick in the ground with names and such!
